10 spectators and a theater that does not look but you live.
A journey for the audience-travelers through a path that winds between the sacred and the profane, in a party in the sense of Latin festum, as public joy, revelry.
A world to experience through the five senses.
Viewers living experience that is not defined but is shaped, made unique and unrepeatable interaction between actors and audience.
10 different routes and the same questions: is there a party that instead of burning, builds?
You can think of a festival instead of trying the breach points to the awareness and to escape ties with the commodification and trade? You can think of something that moves away from the repeated set of cultural patterns, which is cross between cultures and can be a place of exchange? What relationship is there between party and identity?
lot of questions through which everyone, whether resident or traveler, creates his own world as possible.
Feri-ae is a time and a place of passage, in search of the magical nature of ritual significance: the viewer experiences the party, making it possible moves within a time frame that is extraordinary, as opposed to daily swing between action and memory, including visual arts and language of the senses, including body and space, between game and ritual.
A physical and spiritual journey, a return to the collective imagination and primitive, an experience which confuse the plans to allow the public not to suffer but to return to the emotions felt through the senses. (Text by Francesca d'Apolito)
